About the walk
There is a saying in the Czech Republic – a Czech man – a musician... For all music fans we have designed following route with the expert on music: Mr. Joseph Vich (for elders), the singer of the National Theatre or Tom – an active drummer, student of Academy of Music.
Variant B: Classical musical tour:
Starts: at 10:00 a.m.
Itinerary: Bedrich Smetana, Antonin Dvorak's museums, Bertramka – Mozart's museum, (we always visit 2 of them, after your interest), enroute we'll mention and show places connected with the outstanding personalities – giants of classical music – Franz Liszt, Ludwig van Beethoven, will describe the atmosphere and life at the end of 19, beginning of 20 th century in the city, tell key stories from composer´s lifes, very similar to contemporary enviroment….palaces and theatres, connected with their stay in Prague...
Our last stop will be Museum of Instruments, for music lovers very interesting collection from all over the world...
We'll make a break where else then Rudolfinum – famous and best neorenaissance concert hall in Prague, where Czech philharmonic orchestra performs... Over coffee we'll not forget to mention other excellent personalities of Czech music scene: Leoš Janaček, Ema Destinova, etc.
Please note: It is possible to organize additionaly trip out of Prague to Nelahozeves, Antonin Dvorak birth place and Nelahozeves Chateau, holding a private collection of manuscripts and instruments too.
Meeting Point
20 meters left from the Astronomical Clock on the Old Town Square, your guide will hold up a beige umbrella with the name Prague Walks on it.
