About the trip
This worlfamous spa town was founded by the Emperor Charles the IV, nowadays well known for its Film Festival.
The town has remained its beauty and charm of the glorious 19th century, while visited by many composers, poets, politicians etc. It is surrounded by forest hills in a picturesque valley. Twelve mineral springs gush out of the ground here with a temperature of 30 to 70 °C.
Karlovy Vary is built on terraced ground which gives the town a paticurarly attractive appearance. The elegant scenery is made up of beautiful parks and avenues. The spa center is formed by guest houses, hotels and colonnades with a dozen natural springs with medical effects. Its panorama creates beautiful Russian Church, imposant hotel Imperial or Grandhotel PUPP - the oldest in Czech Republic, visited of many celebrities, the center of Film Festival...
Programm: 10:00am arrival to Karlovy Vary, we'll move to the glass manufacture MOSER, where you will see production part - handcraft. After that a sightseeing around Karlovy Vary, lunch, from 1pm - 3pm you can try procedures in one of many traditional spa houses (mud bath, mineral bath, underwater massage, acupuncture, floating, etc. - price approx. 200 - 450 CZK) and have 1 or 2 hours to walk by yourself.

We reccommend to bring trekking shoes for most trips (except Český Krumlov and Karlovy Vary)
